South Rift Valley, Kenya

On a visit to the South Rift Valley in Kenya in July 2016, I was very privileged to be able to visit two local Maasai communities. I would like to thank the Maasai people for their very warm welcome and for their willingness to share their culture with us. I stayed in the Shompole Wilderness Camp and would also like to thank Johann and Samantha du Toit for their hospitality and for arranging for us to be able to visit these local communities. This gallery shows both the lifestyle of the Maasai and some of the environment in which they live.
